What's New in 2.0
Redesigned Category Editor
Creating and editing categories is now simpler than ever. The new Category Editor uses a drag-and-drop design allowing you to quickly create new categories. Now comes with full undo and redo support.

Image Support
You can now attach images to entries by dragging and dropping an image on an entry. info.xhead stores the original full-scale image as well as a thumbnail. You can also drag application or file icons to use as images.

Infolists
A new way of organizing entries, Infolists allow you to group related entries from different categories in one place.

Field Types
Categories now support defining fields of type Date, Money, or Number, in addition to Text Fields. Fields of type Date, Money, and Number benefit from automatic formatting.

Visual Type Select
For the first time, see what you're actually typing when type-selecting. A small transparent window appears as soon as you start typing in the Entry List and swiftly selects the matched Entry as soon as you're done typing.

Scroll Guide
The Entry List now shows a guide when scrolling allowing you to see where you are in the list. If your entries are sorted alphabetically, alphabets are shown. If your entries are sorted by created or modified date, you'll see dates as you scroll.

Performance
info 2 is the fastest version we have released to date. info 2 starts up instantly (no more dock bounces) and saves are dramatically faster.

External Links
You can now create "links" to entries in info.xhead from external applications. Dragging and dropping an entry in a Pages document for instance creates a link to the entry. Clicking the link launches info.xhead if it's not already running and shows the entry.

Incremental Undo
Individual changes to fields in an entry can now be discretely undone without undoing all the changes to the entry.

Contextual Menus
Both Source and Entry Lists now feature contextual menus avoiding the long journey to the menubar. This is for all you "right-clickers" out there (you know who you are).

Organize Away
Organize your most important information using extensible and color-coded categories. info.xhead comes with several built-in categories for storing everyday information.

Fully Customizable
Create your own categories to store any kind of data. You can customize an existing category and add fields,
delete fields, rename fields, or rearrange the order in which they're displayed.

Secure Database
info.xhead uses 256-bit AES encryption to safeguard your sensitive data. A password you
provide is used to encrypt your information and secure access to the application.

Hidden Fields
Don't want anyone taking a peek at your data while the application is open? Mark any field as hidden and obscure it with
bullets. Text in that field is only revealed when you click on it.

AutoLock
To keep your data secure even when the application is running, info.xhead can automatically lock itself after a configurable period
of inactivity, when your computer goes to sleep, or when a user switch occurs.

AutoFill
Take the work out of logging into websites and have info.xhead do it for you. With a single click, it can launch Safari,
go to the website, and automatically fill out the username and password fields and log you in.

One-click Copy
Don't waste time selecting text and choosing Edit > Copy. Just click the field label and information in that field is swiftly
copied to the clipboard. It doesn't getting any easier or faster.

MobileMe Integration
If you have a MobileMe account, you can use the built-in Backup feature to backup your database to your iDisk. Should you need to, you can restore your database from MobileMe as well.

Import
Import information into info.xhead from CSV (Comma-separated Value) or Tab-delimited files. A flexible import mechanism gives you
precise control over how data is imported.
