iPod Support

Save recordings directly to your iPod in firewire mode or export your playlist directly to iTunes®. Either way, you can take your voice memos and sound recordings are synced automatically so you can listen to your voice memos on the road.

Apple Remote Support

Record, play and pause your recordings using Apple's Remote Control.

Bluetooth Support

Your bluetooth headset will show up as an input device. Simply select it, and start recording. It's that simple.

Recorder is designed to run natively on both Intel and Power PPC Macs.

Email Voicemails

Record a voice message and quickly send an email to someone.

VOX

Automatically monitors the input source and activates recording when the input volume reaches a specified level. The recording automatically stops once the audio level drops below a specified threshold. Ideal for use as in security settings, as a baby monitor or to monitor sleeping habits.

FTP Support

Basic ftp support is now just a click away. Setup your ftp server preferences then you can ftp your audio files from within recorder.xhead.

Pitch Control

Allows you to control the playback speed of an audio file. Listen to class notes or speeches in double time or slow them down for clarification.

Podcast Support

Starting your own podcast is as easy as recording, saving and uploading your file.

RSS Podcast File Support

Allows you to create an RSS xml file to accompany your podcast. Includes support for the iTunes® Store tags so you can publish your podcasts to the iTunes® Music Store where other people can subscribe to them.

CD Quality

The default record mode for recorder.xhead is CD Quality 44khz, 16-bit, crystal clear stereo sound ensuring that you get the highest quality audio recordings possible.

Multiple File Formats

Recorder supports the following audio formats including .aac, .aif, .au, .avi, .mp3, .mp4, .mov, .snd, .wav and more. Also, converts saved sounds to .mp3 format. Here's some more information on supported file formats and audio compressors.

  • *Other Macs with Tiger or Leopard installed will probably work fine too, we just don't have those in our test lab.

  • Example: This means if you have an iMac and a Macbook, you can only run the application fon one machine.
Family Pack License
  • 5 users, 5 machines
  • Example: This means if you have 5 Macs, then you can run the application as 5 different users on all 5 machines.

Site License
  • Example: Users and machines defined by a custom site license agreement.

Upgrade License
  • Requires an existing valid license for a previous version of the software.
  • Example: User already has v 4.0 and wants to buy 5.0.
